[COVID-19] NCDC Records 582 Fresh Cases, 11 Fatalities

Total cases confirmed – 193,013
Total cases discharged – 179,000
Total deaths recorded – 2,480

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 193,013 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated September 1, the NCDC reports 582 new cases with 11 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 15 states – Lagos-175, Rivers-124, Edo-60, Delta-57, Akwa Ibom-44, Anambra-25, Bayelsa-22, Gombe-19, Ekiti-12, FCT-12, Kaduna-11, Kano-6, Benue-5, Plateau-5, Ogun-3 and Jigawa-2.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 179,000 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,480.
