The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 192,431 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated August 31, the NCDC reports 626 new cases with 14 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 9 states – Lagos-334, Rivers-134, Oyo-60, FCT-41, Osun-20, Plateau-14, Ogun-9, Ekiti-7, Kwara-6 and Benue-1.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Kano, Nasarawa and Sokoto States.
