[COVID-19] NCDC Records 8 New Cases, One Death

  • Total cases confirmed – 253,978
  • Total cases discharged – 230,323
  • Total deaths recorded – 3,141

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 253,978 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated February 12, the NCDC reports 8 new cases with no COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 3 States – FCT (4), Rivers (3), and Kaduna (1).

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Bauchi, Delta, Kano, Plateau and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 230,323 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,141.
