The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 195,052 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated September 4, the NCDC reports 964 new cases with 49 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 19 states – Lagos-456, Ondo-180, Edo-66, Rivers-62, Niger-26, Akwa Ibom-25, Ekiti-22, Kwara-22, Oyo-22, Kaduna-17, Delta-14, Benue-12, Gombe-9, Plateau-9, FCT-8, Jigawa-5, Ogun-4, Bayelsa-2, Nasarawa-2 and Bauchi-1.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Osun and Sokoto States.
