[COVID-19] NCDC Records First Death Since February

  • Total cases confirmed – 255,646
  • Total cases discharged – 249,842
  • Total deaths recorded – 3,143

EDITOR’S PICK

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 255,646 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated April 12 – 13, the NCDC reports 13 new cases with 1 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 5 states – Lagos (6), Rivers (3), Delta (2), FCT (1) and Kano (1).

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Abia, Bauchi, Cross River, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Plateau and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 249,842 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,143.
