The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 165,559 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated May 12, the NCDC reports 44 new cases with one COVID-related fatality.

The new infections were recorded in 4 states — Lagos-28, Rivers-14, Akwa Ibom-1 and Ekiti-1.
