COVID-19: NCDC Records One Fatality, 146 New Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 169,678
  • Total cases discharged – 164,710
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,128

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 169,678 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 18, the NCDC reports 146 new cases with one COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 8 states – Lagos-134, Ondo-3, Cross River-2, FCT-2, Kwara-2, Ogun-1, Oyo-1 and Rivers-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from Ekiti, Kano, Nasarawa, Plateau and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,710 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,128.
