COVID-19: NCDC Records Zero Death For Sixth Consecutive Day, Announces 26 New Cases
- Total cases confirmed – 164,233
- Total cases discharged – 154,332
- Total deaths recorded – 2,061
The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 164,233 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated April 17, the NCDC reports 26 new cases with no COVID-related fatality.

The new infections were recorded in 6 states — Ebonyi-10, Lagos-9, FCT-2, Kano-2, Osun-2 and Oyo-1.
Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 154,332 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,061.
