COVID-19: NCDC Records Zero Death In Five Days, Confirms 60 New Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 164,207
  • Total cases discharged – 154,325
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,061

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 164,207 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated April 16, the NCDC reports 60 new cases with no COVID-related fatality.

The new infections were recorded in 9 states — Lagos-22, Rivers-15, Bayelsa-7, Kaduna-5, Ogun-4, Akwa Ibom-3, Osun-2, Kano-1 and Ebonyi-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 154,325 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,061.
