COVID-19: NCDC Reports 132 New Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 169,206
  • Total cases discharged – 164,666
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,126

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 169,206 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 16, the NCDC reports 132 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 8 states – Lagos-109, Rivers-16, Gombe-3, Katsina-2, FCT-1 and Nasarawa-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from Plateau, Sokoto, Kano and Kaduna.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,666 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,126.
