COVID-19: NCDC Reports 159 New Cases, One Fatality

  • Total cases confirmed – 169,074
  • Total cases discharged – 164,652
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,126

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 168,915 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 14, the NCDC reports 48 new cases with one COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 8 states – Lagos-119, Akwa Ibom-19, Rivers-11, Ogun-5, Ekiti-2, FCT-1, Delta-1 and Kwara-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from Plateau, Sokoto, Kano, Oyo, Ondo and Kaduna.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,652 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,126.
