[COVID-19] NCDC Reports 267 New Cases, 3 Fatalities

  • Total cases confirmed – 250,628
  • Total cases discharged – 223,765
  • Total deaths recorded – 3,095

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 250,361 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated January 15, the NCDC reports 267 new cases with 3 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 10 states – Delta (160), Osun (27), FCT (22), Gombe (17), Cross River (16), Enugu (13), Rivers (6), Ekiti (4), Kaduna (1), and Kano (1)

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Abia, Bauchi, Ogun, Ondo, Plateau and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 223,495 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,095.
