The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 207,978 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated October 11, the NCDC reports 284 new cases with 9 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 19 states – FCT (67), Kaduna (33), Rivers (31), Anambra (23), Lagos (22), Osun (22), Cross River (18), Edo (18), Ondo (13), Plateau (12), Nasarawa (6), Kwara (5), Imo (4) Benue (3), Niger (2), Delta (1), Ekiti (1), Jigawa (1), Ogun (1), and Oyo (1).
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Bauchi and Kano States.
