COVID-19: NCDC Reports 404 New Cases

• Total cases confirmed – 171,728
• Total cases discharged – 164,837
• Total deaths recorded – 2,134

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 171,728 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 27, the NCDC reports 404 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 12 states – Lagos-356, Rivers-18, FCT-7, Ekiti-5, Kaduna-5, Gombe-3, Kano-3, Edo-2, Ogun-2, Bayelsa-1, Plateau-1 and Nasaraw-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Sokoto, Oyo, Imo and Enugu States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,837 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,134.
