EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Diseas Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 214,218 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated December 2, the NCDC reports 47 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 8 States- Plateau (16), FCT (8), Rivers (8), Gombe (4), Kaduna (4), Edo (3), Kano (3), and Bauchi (1).
According to the NCDC, no cases were recorded in Sokoto States.
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 207,357 cases have been discharged while the death toll stays at 2,978.
