[COVID-19] NCDC Reports 55 New Cases, No Death

  • Total cases confirmed – 214,622
  • Total cases discharged – 207,450
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,980

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Diseas Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 214,622 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated December 5, the NCDC reports 47 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 6 States – Lagos (37), Edo (6), Osun (5), Oyo (4), Ogun (2), and Ekiti (1).

According to the NCDC, no cases were recorded in Kaduna, Ondo, Rivers and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 207,450 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,980
