[COVID-19] NCDC Reports 75 Fresh Infections, One Death

• Total cases confirmed – 252,753
• Total cases discharged – 228,137
• Total deaths recorded – 3,134

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 252,753 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated January 26, the NCDC reports 75 new cases with 1 COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 9 states – Lagos-33, Gombe-13, FCT-11, Osun-8, Edo-3, Rivers-3, Plateau-2, Kaduna-1 and Kano-1.

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Abia, Ekiti, Nasarawa, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 228,137 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,134.
