EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 252,753 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated January 27, the NCDC reports 87 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 11 states – Lagos-25, Rivers-16, FCT-15, Delta-9, Edo-7, Gombe-5, Nasarawa-4, Bauchi-3, Kano-1, Oyo-1 and Borno-1.
According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Abia, Plateau, Ekiti, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 228,404 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,134.
