[COVID-19] Nigeria Hits 200,000 Cases, Records 16 Fatalities

  • Total cases confirmed – 200,057
  • Total cases discharged – 186,719
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,637

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 200,057 COVID-19 cases., 

In its latest case update dated September 14, the NCDC reports 519 new cases with 16 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 14 states – Lagos-120, Ondo-110, Rivers-74, Edo-63, FCT-58, Oyo-31, Kaduna-15, Bayelsa-11, Cross River-11, Delta-11, Kano-5, Ogun-4, Plateau-3, Adamawa-2 and Gombe-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Ekiti, Nasarawa, Osun and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 186,719 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,637.
