COVID-19: Nigeria Records 12 New Infections, Two Deaths

  • Total cases confirmed – 168,552
  • Total cases discharged – 164,439
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,124

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 168,552 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 11, the NCDC reports 12 new cases with two COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 3 states – Akwa Ibom-6, Ogun-4 and Rivers-2.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from Ekiti, FCT, Imo, Kaduna, Kano, Nasarawa, Oyo, Plateau, and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,439 cases have been discharged while the death toll still has risen to 2,124.
