COVID-19: No Death Recorded As NCDC Announces 37 Fresh Infections

  • Total cases confirmed – 165,419
  • Total cases discharged – 156,297
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,065

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 165,419 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 9, the NCDC reports 37 new cases with no COVID-related fatality.

The new infections were recorded in 7 states — Yobe-13, Lagos-12, Akwa Ibom-6, FCT-3, Edo-1, Kaduna-1 and Ogun-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 156,297 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,065.
