COVID-19: No Fatalities As Nigeria Records 152 New Cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in its latest case update, confirmed that Nigeria has recorded 152 new cases of the novel Coronavirus disease.

The latest figure brings the number of confirmed cases in the country to 65,457, having carried out a total daily test of 12,133 samples across the country.

According to the NCDC, out of the 65,457 cases that have been confirmed, 61,337 cases have been discharged and 1,163 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. A total of 717,942 tests have been carried out.

The 152 new cases were reported from 12 states – Lagos (61), Oyo (39), FCT (13), Yobe (10), Bauchi (6), Kaduna (5), Kano (4), Kwara (4), Plateau (4), Edo (2), Ogun (2), Rivers (2).
