COVID-19: No Fatality As NCDC Reports 80 Fresh Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 164,080
  • Total cases discharged – 154,285
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,061

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 164,080 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated April 15, the NCDC reports 80 new cases with no COVID-related fatality.

The new infections were recorded in 12 states — Lagos-29, Rivers-19, Zamfara-6, Akwa Ibom-4, Edo-4, Osun-4, Plateau-4, Ogun-3, Kano-3, Nasarawa-2, FCT-1 and Oyo-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 154,285 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,061.
