COVID-19: Ogun Takes Delivery Of Vaccine — First State To Do So
The Ogun state government on Monday aannounced that it had taken delivery of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
The state governor, Dapo Abiodun, who confirmed the delivery, said 100,000 doses of the vaccine were received.
He announced the development on his official twitter page.
The development means that Ogun is the first state in Nigeria to receive the vaccine, having met the requirements for disbursement.

Nigeria received first batch of the vaccines last week Tuesday after few delays and logistics encumbrance.
COVID-19 vaccination in the country began week with frontline health workers in Abuja last Friday. The president and vice president were vaccinated on Saturday.
