Super Eagle’s football star and Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze has said the outbreak of COVID-19 had changed the mode of training in the football pitch.
Speaking with ABN TV at his Umuahia residence recently, Chukwueze said the pandemic has made it difficult for players to hug or touch each other in celebration of scores.
He also added that he stayed indoors in Spain for three months without coming outside but kept in touch with family through video calls.

The football star also revealed that players are subjected to a series of COVID-19 test before allowed to participate in the game.
He further added that it is mandatory to wear face mask wash hands and use hand sanitizer in public places in Spain, just like it is observed in Nigeria.
Chukwueze stated that despite his busy schedule, he pays adequate attention to his Diamond Academy Super Stars, a football training center he founded.
He called on upcoming players to be hard working, imbibe the spirit of humility and discipline if they aspire to get to greater heights in football career.
Recall that a leading online medium in Nigeria, ABN TV had entered a memorandum of understanding with Samuel Chukwueze Foundation, a nongovernmental organization founded by the football star in the area of publicity and content production.
