In accordance with his promise, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, amidst all the crisis has distributed palliative to the Epe Local Government Area of Lagos.
Lagos State had during the #EndSARS protest lost palliative in diverse warehouses to hoodlums who looted the items that were kept for beneficiaries within the state.
Amidst this, the Lagos state government had passed a large number of palliative to Epe community which was distributed in some areas of the town includes Agbowa, Ejirin, and Eredo, amongst others.
Report has it that upon delivery, the intended place of delivery could not be reached which caused a commissioner of the State within the town to be of assistance, an act which a few persons termed as “fraud on palliative.”
In his response to the reactions, the commissioner explained the goods were only dropped in his house due to the challenges the drivers had in locating the intended area.
A video was further released explaining how the items were brought in and shared with the beneficiaries.
