COVID-19 Second Wave: PTF Insists On 12am – 4am Curfew, Shuts Bars And Clubs

The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, on Thursday, insisted that the 12am-4am curfew is still very much in effect as a second wave of the coronavirus continues to sweep across the country.

National Coordinator of the PTF, Sani Aliyu, disclosed this while briefing journalists in Abuja.

He also announced new guidelines including the closure of bars and clubs in various parts of the country as part of measures to curb the spread of the disease.

He however charged security agencies to enforce the use of face masks and social distancing.

He echoed the directive that civil servants on Grade Level (GL) 12 and below should work from home and asked the permanent secretaries in the respective ministries to enforce the order.
