COVID-19 Toll Surges As NCDC Confirms 203 New Infections, 28 Deaths

  • Total cases confirmed – 166,518
  • Total cases discharged – 158,781
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,099

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 166,518 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 31, the NCDC reports 203 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new infections were recorded in 6 states – Lagos-10, Ondo-6, FCT-4, Kaduna-4 and Plateau-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 158,781 cases have been discharged while the death toll rises to 2,099.
