[COVID-19] Two Die As Nigeria Records 196 New Cases Amid Omicron Scare

  • Total cases confirmed – 214,513
  • Total cases discharged – 207,403
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,980

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 214,513 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated December 3, the NCDC reports 196 new cases with two COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 8 States – Lagos (138), Rivers (23), FCT (18), Imo (15), Bauchi (1), and Gombe (1).

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Plateau State.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 207,403 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,980.
