Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has declared that residents in Oyo State will die like mere flies if the Government doesn’t declare a lockdown to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
With a total of 199 confirmed cases, 47 recovery and a death toll of 4, the State is on the verge of a serious covid-19 crisis, considering its lack of any lock down protocol. The state only has a curfew imposed.
Kemi Olunloyo who is an Oyo State indigene, slammed the Coronavirus task force headed by the governor, Seyi Makinde for not handling the crisis properly.
Expressing her self via her official Twitter handle, Olunloyo called for President Muhammadu Buhari’s intervention in the matter, as she suggests a 30 day lockdown of the state to slow the spread of the virus, because death is imminent.
