COVID19 Has Paralysed Sports Betting, Gives Prominence To Vitual Betting-Zainab Adeyemi
BetKing attendant, Zainab Adeyemi, has displayed her grievance over the low sale, lamenting that the betting visual popular known as baby visual has taken over the sports betting.
She added that the COVID-19 pandemic has shut down all the sports activities worldwide, which has affected the sports betting businesses indirectly.
She moved further to say that sports betting has been replaced by betting visual (baby visual) but this new development has low turn out.
“The sports betting is easily predictable while the betting visual could only be won by luck,” she said.

After the attendant had been interviewed, our reporter asked of the opinions of the other people within the betting firm.
Abdul Fatahi Hassan said that betting visual has commanded a low turn out because most of the players of sports betting were daily income earner and the lockdown has hindered them from getting money to play the betting visual.
He added that he didn’t believe that Nigerians do not understand the new game, but the source of income has been blocked by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Nigerians don’t know when the lockdown order will be reversed, so they need to keep the little money at their hand for feeding,” he said.
Another player of the new game, Samson Paul, said most people come into the betting firm to charge their phones instead of playing the game.
She went further to say that no food and electricity is not constant, that they have been patronizing the betting firm to chat up with friends.
“Betting visual has low turn out because people are at home obeying the social distancing and stay-at-home order,” she said.
