Covid19: MTN Promotes Advocacy Gives Free Update On Pandemic

In the wake of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, several organizations as part of their social responsibility have engaged one form of education or the other on the virus.

One of such is MTN, a mobile network provider in the Nigeria telecommunication space who has deemed it fit to promote advocacy in this direction.

Her recent public advocacy explaining what the virus is all about reads:

“There has been a global outbreak of Coronavirus, which causes illnesses such as cold, fever and difficulty in breathing. Coronavirus spreads via droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes and their droplets lands in the mouth or noses of nearby people. People could also catch Coronavirus by touching contaminated surfaces and then touching their eyes, nose or mouth.

To avoid the spread of Coronavirus, maintain at least one and half meters distance between yourself and anyone that is sneezing and coughing, wash your hands, before, during and after food preparation, cover your mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue when coughing and maintain a high level of personal hygiene

The advocacy also made allowance for people who needs update on the virus. It reads below:
