Lagos Confirms Fresh COVID-19 Deaths
The Lagos State Government has confirmed that it recorded fresh COVID-19 related deaths.
The State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi said this in a tweet on Tuesday.
He noted that although no fresh cases of the coronavirus disease had been recorded on Monday, April 20, there were related deaths from the pandemic.

He said one of the deceased was a 45- year-old Nigerian man who returned from India in January.
His tweet read “#COVID19Lagos Update
“No new case of #COVID19 was confirmed in Lagos on 20th April, 2020.
“However, #COVID19 related deaths were recorded in Lagos. One of the deceased was a 45 years old Nigerian male who returned from India in January, 2020.”
