#COVID19Nigeria: Confirmed cases exceeds 25,000

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 566 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, as the country’s total infections exceeded 25,000.

NCDC confirmed this via its Twitter page on Monday night.

According to the health agency, 25, 133 persons have tested positive to the virus, while 9,402 patients have been treated and discharged from different isolation centres across the country.

It also confirmed that 573 people have died due to the COVID-19 related symptoms.
