COZA: Is It Right To Rape – Noel

Performing artist Noel has lend his voice to the on going Coza saga which has been on going, involving the COZA pastor, Biodun Fatoyimbo and Busola Dakolo .

In a statement, He said

In regards to the recent happenings that has been going on in the country concerning, the rape case between busola Dakolo and Pastor biodun Fatoyinbo.

First I’ve been cultured to know that I’m not supposed to judge anybody, and at the same time I wasn’t there as an eye witness,it would be wrong of me to make assertions that are not verified, and especially out of my sentimental feelings,or out of what I think people want to hear…now is it right to rape.

I would say a big fat No,and I do believe its something that should be dealt with, cause it is. Social and psychological misdemeanor, but at the same time do I blame a person I barely know anything about his personal life (pastor biodun) or her personal life (Busola dakolo),what I’m saying is we should ask ourselves intelligent questions that matter, rather than take whatever we hear hook line and sinker.

People capitalize of issues like this, before long it becomes politicized and sensitive because human interest and feeling is involved, this sometimes cloud our judgements an perception of things. If the allegation of rape is genuine then let corrective measures be taken,I do believe the internet most times blows up matters that can be resolved out of proportion.

Remember the internet can be a positive tool and yet also can be used wrongly and manipulated.. Investigations should be made, and questions should be asked,I pastor Bodun isn’t as big as h is today would Busola dakolo, would she admit to being raped by someone who’s seemingly known by nobody?

What’s her reason for coming out now..is it to break up the church or self gratification or is it justice.in all I’m not in a place to judge so I believe its about asking questions.

I believe there are better ways to solve this issue than venting on the internet though the truth is,most truths are edited to suit the various sentiments of those who have the power to make such adjustment,in all though, lets not forget to support our women folk and stand for them..

We need to care more and help those who have been abused recover from psychological trauma in more intelligent and healing ways, and prevent those who might be targets and fall prey of vicious men. let’s be wiser.
