Only few days after the surprise 5-2 defeat to West Bromwich Albion, worrying reports have emerged from Stamford Bridge with a number of Chelsea stars said to have been involved in heated altercation in response to the ‘humiliating end’ of their unbeaten record under new manager Thomas Tuchel.
According to a report by Sky Sports, star duo Antonio Rudiger and Kepa Arrizabalaga were involved in a training bust-up on Sunday after the Germany international’s bad tackle on the star goalkeeper, forcing the manager Thomas Tuchel to eject him (Rudiger) from the training ground.
However, the 28 year old is said to have apologised to his teammates after the incident.
Moreover, according to reports, Rudiger and Kepa are not the only players to have clashed after the Sartuday’s defeat with club captain Cezar Azpilicueta also reported to have been involved in ‘frank’ exchange with young right back Reece James immediately after the match though it is understood the duo are now in good terms, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
Meanwhile, the Blues are preparing for their UEFA Champions League quarter final first leg match against FC Porto on Wednesday and are hoping to return to winning ways. It rremains to be seen if the players will turn up for each other in the game.
