Crossover Service: LASG Discourages Large Gatherings
The Lagos State Government (LASG) has continued to discourage residents of the state from gathering in large numbers, especially as it concerns the conduct of this year’s crossover service by Christian worship centres.
The State’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho, via twitter on Wednesday, complained that large gatherings will not help at a time when the government is working hard to stop the disease from spreading further.
He explained that it is necessary for residents to cooperate with the government in this regard to curb the further spread of COVID-19 in the state.

The commissioner urged residents to comply with the non-pharmaceutical measures put in place by LASG as they prepare to take part in crossover services across the states.
Omotosho, however, warned that the 12am to 4am curfew, imposed by the Federal Government in the heat of the outbreak, remained in force.
