Joy filled the Oshodi area of Lagos yesterday when a young woman gave birth by the roadside, Eko Hot Blog reports.

According to eyewitnesses, she was travelling from Ajah to an undisclosed destination when she suddenly went into labour.

Several women in the area quickly came to her aid.
One witness described the incident as “God’s intervention,” explaining that the swift response of the women ensured the safe delivery of the baby. Attempts to contact the woman’s husband by phone at first were unsuccessful, but friends stepped in to assist until he arrived shortly after the birth.
Passersby celebrated and congratulated the new mother, while market women hailed the event as a sign of divine favour.
