CSFRIST Lagos Edu Consult To Partner With Microsoft In Training Teachers In Epe

CsFirst Lagos education Consult in partnership with Microsoft will organise a workshop for training of teachers and other stakeholders in the education sector in Epe.
The training, which is tagged “the 21st-century teachers’ conference”, is a Microsoft Certified Teachers training conference for School Owners, Teachers, School Administrators, Lecturers, Education Consultants, Students and Government Education Agencies.
According to a statement by CsFirst Lagos Edu Consult, this year edition will come up on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Micheal Otedola College of Primary Education Noforija, Epe.
The statement read “The participants will be equipped on the use of technology for teaching and learning with the latest methods of digital learning, connection-based learning and hybrid learning using the 21st Century Learning Design teaching, learning, collaboration and education administration.
“Recent technological advances have affected many areas of our lives: the way we communicate, collaborate, learn, and, of course, teach. Along with that, those advances necessitated an expansion of our vocabulary, producing definitions such as digital natives, digital immigrants, Global Citizens, hybrid learning and, the theme of this Conference: “21st-Century Teachers”.
It is on this premise that CSFirst Lagos Edu Consult, a Microsoft Global Training Partner is organizing the 1-day training, workshop and conference for education stakeholders in Epe Division of the state.
” Themed “21st Century Teachers’ International Conference”, over 1000 educators (Teachers, School Owners, Education Consultants, Lecturers, University Students, Administrators and Parents) from different schools across the division will be impacted with Edu Tech skills and world-class knowledge that transforms them into change agents, delivering turn-key innovations in the education sector and ultimately become certified by Microsoft as Innovative Educators.
“It is said that “An Analog teacher cannot teach a digital student”. Therefore, teachers need to develop their 21st Century teaching Skills today, if they must fit into a world that will be Artificial Intelligence (A.I) driven and advance digital learning tools of the 21st Century schools or be out of teaching job by 2030.
“The conference is designed to enlighten the entire school community on the need for effective integration and application of technology in teaching and learning; the need for teachers to be IT Compliant and the proper use of technology as a tool for improving teaching skills that impact pupils and students. The training is carefully crafted to also equip teachers and educators, encourage collaboration among pupils and students and improve their creativity in and outside the confines of the classroom.
The 1-day conference will be completely hands-on, with practical sessions on OneNote, O365, Teams, Forms, Empatico, Flipgrid, Wakelet, that will enable teaching and learning become easy as the participant will be armed with the application of digital tools in teaching and learning. The participants will also be linked to a community of Educators from around the globe for collaboration and exchanges.
The Organizer of the conference disclosed that participants will receive step by step training materials for all presentations, useful links which include the educator’s community, Conference training slides, and other freebies from Microsoft and they will all be certified as a MICROSOFT INNOVATIVE EDUCATOR.
