The Czech Republic Football Association have on Thursday revealed that Portugal national team captain Cristiano Ronaldo is not the highest goal scorer in football history, according to their statistics.
The five-time Balon D’or winner scored a goal in Juventus 2-0 victory over Napoli football club on Wednesday night, to take his total career goals to 760, having equaled the written record of Josef Bican few days ago, he has been receiving much adulations from fans across the globe for his outstanding career, after he was announced as the highest goal scorer in the history of football.
The Czech Republic Football Association have now come out to deny the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest goalscorer in football history, as they said that the history and statistics committee of their country have counted all the goals scored by the Legendary Josef Bican in all his official games, and that Bican scored a total number of 821 goals.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, Czech FA head of the committee Jaroslav Kolar revealed this in a short video released on their verified Instagram handle that;
“The History and Statistics committee of the Czech FA counted all the goals scored by the Legendary Josef Bican and we can declare he scored 821 goals in official matches.”
