Daddy Showkey Offers Anthony Joshua Assistance Against Next Fight

Veteran Nigerian singer, Daddy Showkey has offered to train Nigerian-British boxer, Anthony Joshua against his next fight.

It will be recalled that the “Showkey” crooner was skilled as a boxer before venturing into music as a career.

Speaking with an online newspaper, Qed.ng hours after AJ suffered his first defeat against Mexican boxer, Andy Ruiz Jr at New York’s Madison Square Garden, USA, Daddy Showkey blamed AJ for being complacent.

Having posted a video on Instagram earlier urging Joshua to “come home for good and hard training,” Showkey reiterated the call while blaming the boxer of overconfidence.

“He went into the match thinking he had won. There was too much paparazzi around him.

“As a boxing coach, I will tell him to come home for proper training.

“He should come to Ajegunle or the National Stadium and let me train him for his next fight,” Showkey said.
