As far as musician, Dammy Krane, is concerned, internet fraudsters, better known as Yahoo boys, are African music promoters and influencers.
Coming a few weeks after Naira Marley made the infamous social media defending Internet fraudsters, Dammy Krane on Saturday shared his opinion about Yahoo boys and their contribution to the music industry in a now deleted post.
In an Instagram post published on Saturday, May 4, the “Amin” singer wrote: “Yahoo boys are the ones balling in all Yankee clubs, clubs worldwide sef. Dem no fit ball make dem no hear African jams….so even if they are hosting Jay Z in the club, dem must play African jams, sometimes all thru the night…quite safe to say Yahoo boys are African music promoters and influencers.”
Checks made on Dammy Krane’s Instagram account, have, however, showed that the artist has deleted the post, perhaps after weighing its consequence and likely backlash.
But not before it drew attention days after Naira Marley came under fire for defending internet fraud and even throwing the trans-Atlantic slave trade into the mix.
According to him, the money in the country continues to circulate among some prominent politicians and anyone who knows about slavery would not consider internet scam as a crime.
