Dani Alves Named Copa America’s Player Of The Tournament

Brazil right back, Dani Alves, has been named Player of the Tournament at Copa America which ended at the Maracana on Sunday.

The former Barcelona player, who is a free agent this summer after leaving the French side, Paris Saint German, was rewarded for his decisive performances in a Brazil shirt.

Having turned out for Juventus and PSG after leaving Barcelona, he is on the move again for next season and clubs including Manchester City have been mooted as likely destination.

Alves was the standout player for the Brazil side that emerged victorious on home soil against Peru 3-1 on Sunday, surprising many his still impressive runs despite advancing years.
