Eko Hot Blog reports that in a disturbing case brought before the Upper Area Court in Kwara State, a young woman identified as Simbiat Moshood has leveled grave accusations against her father, Mashood, from the Olorunsogo area of Bode Saadu, Moro local Government Area.

Simbiat has alleged that her father has been engaging in sexual intercourse with her, accompanied by threats of imprisonment or death if she revealed the abuse to anyone.

“The act has become my father’s habit, I am his only daughter and that is why my mother has refused to return home after they divorced,” Simbiat stated.

Shockingly, Simbiat further claimed that her father’s second wife is aware of the illicit act and often mocks her, suggesting it is a ritualistic activity.

“My father’s second wife had once caught us in the act and do make jest of me and alleging ritualistic activity,” she added.

Barrister Toyin Onaolapo, the counsel for the accused, requested that the court grant his client bail. Magistrate Abdul Yekeen, presiding over the case, granted the accused bail and adjourned the matter until April 15, 2024.
