EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nigerian afrobeats sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reportedly vacated his luxurious mansion in Banana Island and listed the property for rent, according to a Lagos State real estate agent, Kofoworola Adewumi.
Adewumi took to her Instagram page to announce the availability of the multi-million naira mansion.
Her post described the property as a lavish 5-bedroom detached house located in the serene and exclusive neighborhood of Banana Island, Lagos.
The house is said to offer a range of top-of-the-line amenities, including a gym, a sparkling swimming pool, a fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances, and spacious living areas ideal for entertaining guests.
In response to the real estate agent’s post, a multitude of Davido’s fans flocked to the comment section, accusing her of seeking attention by associating with Davido’s former residence.
Addressing the accusations, Adewumi clarified that while Davido had indeed resided in the property, he has since moved out, leading to its availability for rent.
She further stated that if the fans were genuinely acquainted with Davido to the extent of knowing his residence, they should also be aware of his relocation.
Reports indicate that the singer had been renting the Banana Island mansion for $150,000 per annum.
This development comes approximately seven months after Davido tragically lost his son in an unfortunate drowning incident at the same Banana Island home in October 2022.
The decision to move out of his former residence and put it up for rent suggests that Davido may have chosen to seek a change of scenery or adopt a different living arrangement.
