On Wednesday, the musician made the announcement via his Twitter account.
Given how difficult things are in the country, he explained that he wanted to assist the specified number of people in starting a business.
The DMW CEO encouraged people with great business/startup ideas to send them to him so that they could benefit from his philanthropic gesture.
Davido tweeted: “Country hard right now sha … let’s give 20m to 20 pple on Friday … send in your business ideas or start-up ideas … more details shortly #Wrblo.”
In another tweet, he said: “Govt don fail us nah to dey help each other we dey now.”
Recall that the Adeleke’s family was overjoyed after their uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, won the PDP primary election for governor of Osun State.
Senator Ademola and Prince Dotun Babayemi emerged as the People’s Democratic Party’s candidates for the Osun 2022 governorship election and an ecstatic Davido took to Instagram to celebrate his uncle’s victory.
The singer, who has been a staunch supporter of his uncle’s political ambitions, couldn’t contain his joy at his first victory.
Davido congratulated him in a series of posts on his social media account.
He wrote: “IMOLE. Congrats. Congrats OSUN. UPPERCUT @ademolaadeleke_01”
