Davido will perform at the World Cup Closing Ceremony.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is reportedly set to perform at the ongoing FIFA World Cup closing ceremony in Qatar on December 18, 2022.

This online media platform gathered that Davido canceled all his performances and shows following the death of his son, Ifeanyi, whom he lost to a drowning accident on October 31, 2022.

The singer made his first public appearance during the inauguration of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, as the Governor of Osun State.

Chinese businessman, Stephen Hung, in a post shared on his Instagram page on Thursday, December 8, 2022, confirmed that Davido, who was initially supposed to perform at the World Cup opening ceremony, will now be performing at the closing ceremony.

He wrote: “So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there”.
