Davido Threatens to Sue Dammy Krane
Eko Hot Blog reports that Nigerian singer David Adeleke, known as Davido, has issued a stern ultimatum to his industry colleague Oyindamola Emmanuel, known as Dammy Krane.
Davido demanded a retraction of all derogatory statements made against him on social media within 24 hours.
The ultimatum was delivered via a letter from Davido’s lawyer, Chikaosolu Ojukwu, SAN, who cautioned that failure to comply would prompt Davido to pursue legal action.
In the letter, Davido also urged Dammy Krane to cease making defamatory remarks about him on any platform. The legal notice was precipitated by recent posts from Dammy Krane on his social media handle, where he made disparaging comments about Davido’s upcoming wedding to Chioma Rowland.

Dammy Krane’s posts implied that Davido was only marrying Chioma because of infidelity, which sparked considerable backlash and prompted Davido to take legal steps.
Davido’s lawyer stated, “Our client is well known globally as an accomplished and award-winning singer-songwriter, celebrity, and philanthropist. He has instructed us to issue this letter due to your defamatory and offensive statements, which amount to cyberbullying.”
The letter continued, “Remove and retract the offensive publication within 24 hours. Cease any further defamation against our client immediately. Failure to comply will result in legal action, including damages and injunctive relief.”
The rift between Davido and Dammy Krane reportedly stems from alleged financial disputes involving the Grammy-nominated artist.
