Days After Umoren’s Death, Here Is What Youths Uncovered In The Compound Where She Was Killed
- After the death of the Akwa Ibom job seeker Iniubong Umoren, the youths in the community stormed the compound of the suspected killer
- They reportedly vandalized the home of the alleged killer
More graves were uncovered in the compound of Mr. Uduak Akpan, the suspected killer of the lady popularly known as job seeker, Miss Iniobong Umoren, a graduate of philosophy who died while trying to get a job in the city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Uduak Akpan took advantage of the vulnerable situation of Umoren, lured her to his place somewhere around the outskirts of the town in Nnung Ikono Obio, Uruan Local Government Area of the state, where he had his way with her, killed her, and dumped her body in a shallow grave in his father’s compound, to hide the truth from the public.
Days after the incident, the community in rage stormed his compound, destroying properties, razing whatever they could lay their hands on in the storey building.
It was discovered that the suspect had about (12) shallow graves in the large compound of his father, skeletal bones suspected to be that of kids were lying on the floor of the compound.
There were sacks around as well, which many believe was used in gathering bones of their victims.

The youths claimed that the suspect and his father do not live in the community permanently. According to them, they have a family house in the neighbouring community.
They revealed that they do not have friends in that community. Their compound is always locked and even when they are around nobody dares to visit them because they wrote, ‘Beware of Dogs’ on their gate.
The youths said they never knew that there was something like that going on in the compound before then, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
