EKO HOT BLOG reports that at least four individuals tragically lost their lives in a stampede during an almsgiving event in Bauchi State.
The incident occurred at the headquarters of Shafa Holdings Company Plc along Jos Road around 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Ahmed Wakili, the state Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident, noting that the situation has been brought under control.
Further inquiries into the incident were deferred by Wakili, citing his current location in a public setting where discussion of state security affairs was not feasible.
As of the time of reporting, no statement has been issued by the company regarding the incident.
